Goals for Semester

* Become familiar with curriculum and assessment of that curriculum

• Also become familiar with Grade Level Content Expectations for grades I plan to teach

* Teach literacy lessons so that I can reflect on them - Experiences help me decide what I would or would not do again
* Learn how to plan lessons for and teach language arts to a diverse group of students
* Learn strategies for integrating language arts and other subjects, including technology
* Organize my ideas about teaching language arts and formulate a philosophy
